Ternes, Cindy

Former Missoula resident Cindy Ternes Cedarstrom, 37, of Butte, died Wednesday, Feb. 1 from injuries sustained in a car accident in Butte.

She was born June 8, 1957, in St. Ignatius to Lee and Lorraine Ternes.

She was raised and educated in Missoula, and had lived in Arizona for many years before moving back to Missoula in 1990.  She worked for 4B’s restaurant for many years and at the time of her death was working at 4B’s in Rocker, just outside of Butte.

Cindy was an avid reader and was noted for completing crossword puzzles in record time.

Survivors include her mother, Lorrain Larson, Missoula; her father Lee Ternes, Post Falls, Idaho; a daughter, Sarah Cedarstrom, of Scottsdale, Ariz; her fiance’, Gus Martinez, Missoula; three sisters, Connie Ternes, Kalispell; Debbie Watson, Missoula and Laurie Kane, Spokane; two nieces and two nephews, Harper Kane and Dylan Kane, and Maggie Watson and Tyson Watson; and numerous aunts, uncles cousins and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Garden City Funeral Home and Chapel with the Rev. John Harrington, S.J. officiating.

Cremation and arrangements are by garden City Funeral Home and Chapel.
