MARKHAM, Scott M. After a battle with cancer his heart quietly stopped beating February 5, 2013. He is reunited with his father who had gone before him, fishing by a stream. Scott was born March 20, 1956 to William W. and Carolyn Markham in Ogden, Utah. After a few years living in Utah he moved with his family to Missoula, Montana where he attended Roosevelt Grade School and graduated 1975 from Hellgate High School. After graduating from High School Scott moved to Rathdrum, Idaho where he worked until he retired a few years ago as a Roofer for Union Local 189. He loved the outdoors. He would spend many hours fishing in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. He loved animals of all kinds, usually having a dog or two in the family home. He is survived by the love of his life in the family home, his son Chance Allen Markham. Scott is also survived by his mother, Carolyn Markham, Black Hawk, SD, his brothers Craig (Jeanette) Markham, Rathdrum, ID, Brett Markham, Tracy, CA, his sisters Gwenn Markham (Jerry Grogan), Black Hawk, SD, Paige Markham, Spokane, WA. He has two nieces Lynn (Scott) Kendall, Black Hawk, SD, and Beth (Shaun) Conlin, Newport, RI Two nephews, Chris (Amy) Markham, Coeur d’ Alene, ID and Jeremy (Kristi) Grogan, Beulaville, NC. His has three great-nephews, and one great-niece. His Aunt Jo Crandall, Pinedale, WY and many cousins. Cremation has taken place. A family celebration is planned later this summer. The family suggest in lieu of flowers, to make a donation to your local Human Society.
